Swedish Massage

We use ancient, heated smooth basalt stones hand-picked from the shores of Lake Superior on the Keweenaw Peninsula. Naturally polished by the Lady of The Lake, they truly possess the magic of the lake’s energy. The healing powers of earth and water unite in this therapy treatment to totally relax and renew your body.

Himalayan Hot Salt Stone Massage ~ NEW THIS SEASON ~

This wonderful thermal therapy treatment uses hand-carved stones to harness the benefits of 250 million year-old rock salt from the Himalayan Mountains.

These salt stones are known for their high mineral content that provides gentle exfoliation that is very detoxifying and nourishing for your skin. Together the salt and heat allows these minerals to penetrate deep into the muscles and joints to help relieve muscle pain and tension.

Himalayan salt stones are also known for their ability to release negative ions once heated. Releasing negative ions helps promote a sense of deep relaxation—it calms the central nervous system and leaves you feeling serene and peaceful.

Prenatal Massage

Therapeutic body work that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of the childbearing experience. Myofascial Release

Raindrop Technique

Raindrop Technique combines ancient Lakota wisdom with the latest essential oil research. We use 12 therapeutic grade Young Living Essential Oils to create an experience to help calm the central nervous system, release emotional or physical toxins, balance energy and reduce inflammation. This can bring clarity and peace of mind, which can help support the body’s own intuition to heal. The oils are applied to the spinal reflex points on the feet using a specific Tibetan method called Vitaflex. This stimulates the entire nervous system. The oils are then applied directly to your spine using a Lakota Native American feathering technique that continues to stimulate the nervous system as it helps disperse the oils throughout the body. Additional massage techniques are used throughout the session.

This ancient Japanese healing art uses the laying on of hands to help your system balance itself. It works on all physical, emotional, and spiritual levels to bring body and mind into an even balance.

Distance Healing

Energy work can help your mind, body, and spirit relax, recharge, and restore balance. It may help your body heal faster, reduce pain, and even become more resilient. Healing energies from crystals, stones, gems, and nature—along with sound, vibrational tuning, and other modalities—are combined to serve your needs. Distance sessions include an altar created just for your healing purposes. Distance sessions can be conducted live via Zoom or Facetime or without an online service. A photo of your personalized healing altar will also be sent to your phone or email.

Johanna uses a combination of specialized tuning forks, hand-hammered Tibetan bowls, crystal singing bowls, and a blend of ancient Native American healing traditions and Reiki to create a meditative journey.
